Valentine’s Day is this Friday! No pressure. Don’t worry about spending too much; you can’t. You don’t have reservations at a fancy French restaurant serving a scrumptious, fixed price, three-course meal, with goat cheese and wine pairings? Here are some suggestions to salvage the weekend:

1. Make yourself look like a hero by abducting a pet from your beloved and returning it on Valentine’s Day. This may go very wrong. If it does then…. 

2. On Sunday, bring your friend(s) to Catfish Lou’s to see and hear the (((Rhythm Dogs))) present the next show of its acclaimed “Jazz is the Teacher, Funk is the Preacher” series. Showtime is from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Catfish Lou’s is located at 6540 SW Fallbrook (near intersection of SW Allen and Scholls Ferry).

Join the (((Rhythm Dogs))) - Chris (The Answer) Azorr, Chuk Barber, Mark Burdon, Greg (Trombone Slim) Scholl, Mary-Sue Tobin, and Mark von Bergen – for a special Valentine’s Day celebration. At the door will be our very own modern day version of St. Valentine - Steve "Cupid" Arel - who will be suggesting some nice beer and chicken wings pairings.
